AT&T has announced that their Audience Network is in for a chance
The Chief Content Officer of AT&T has announced that their Audience Network is in for a chance. It will now turn into a promotional channel for HBO Max. For anybody who plans to sign up to HBO Max, this is a must. It will give a taster of what’s to come.
“We will begin to transition Audience Network from its current approach to support AT&T’s broader original content and marketing focus on the upcoming HBO Max service,” said Daniel York, chief content officer, AT&T Consumer to the Hollywood Reporter.
AT&T have also mentioned that everything that they are currently showing on their channel will be moved to HBO Max. They plan to release HBO Max to the public in May 2020, so until then, their goal is to promote HBO as much as possible. Doing this should bring their current fans as well as new ones.
What will happen to AT&T though? There isn’t a definitive answer to this just yet. What we do know, is that the company has sold parts of their service to make sure they’re financially secure for the HBO Max release. We will update you as soon as we know more about this.
