Team Form: Porto ended their 2016-2017 campaign at 11th and lost their last  Liga match 3-1 to Moreirense.

Porto seems to be in good shape as they beat Gil Vicente, 3-1, in a preparation match played at Estádio Cidade de Barcelos last Wednesday. Foward Francisco Soares posted a hat-trick and scored the three goals that gave the victory for the Dragons.

Led by Sérgio Conceição, the Dragons will be looking to a strong start at the debut in the 2017/18 Liga NOS.

Rafa is out of the opening clash and also, Layún has a problem as he had a fever last night. Porto wants to continue with the good results and the good preseason performances and will have a home crowd advantage.

Estoril Team News

Team Form: Finishing 9th last year, Estoril has won three of their last five official games.

Coach Pedro Emanuel has said that they aim to finish in the first half of the leaderboard and consequently will be looking to score points in every game.

Estoril will enter the matchup without midfielder Andre Claro and defender Thiago Cardoso.
