Mexico vs Jamaica Live Stream: How to Watch and Team News

The group C in the CONCACAF Gold Cup this year includes Curaçao, El Salvador, Jamaica, and Mexico. Tonight, Mexico and Jamaica — both much loved and followed teams — lock horns in a showdown. It is clear that Mexico, along with the USA, dominates much of the Gold Cup and other CONCACAF soccer events. But this year, both these nations don’t have any special strengths or rosters. The drafting on their end has been quite mediocre as compared to some other teams in the 2017 edition of the Gold Cup.

So, not all bets are placed on Mexico this time. Jamaica will truly be a serious opponent and tonight we will get to see whose future in the Gold Cup gets better secured.

Mexico Team News

Mexico is one of the strongest teams in Gold Cup competitions. The team also holds the most titles, followed by the USA and then a distant Canada. The Mexicans won’t be easy to work around.

Their last match was with El Salvador where they won 3-1.

Mexico has defeated Jamaica three out of four times they’ve met. One of the times was the 2015 Gold Cup final. This time, the team is very different (much younger, and almost exclusively Mexican) but the temperament is pretty much the same with the Mexican team. We can easily hope they continue their tradition of success in the Gold Cup in this match against the Jamaicans.

Jamaica Team News

Jamaica is a strong contender for the Gold Cup. The Jamaican team opened up with a 2-0 against Curaçao (scored in the second half). Their performance wasn’t particularly impressive, as one of the goals was quite a poor touch — but they won and that’s what matters for the results of the tournament.

Jamaica although hasn’t shown a much impressive debut or a strong lineup to face the Mexican team — it still holds true promise as the Jamaican team has been involved in a good deal of practice lately. The only thing to find out tonight is whether the practice was enough to take on Mexico or not.
