Jose Mourinho is preparing to sign at least two players in January as he looks to ship out the dead wood in the United squad.
Manchester United haven’t had a bad first half of the season, but Jose Mourinho still will like to sign 1 or 2 new players in the United squad to help them gain top 4 in the Premier League.
As Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay are both guaranteed to leave this January, Mourinho will be in search of replacements for both to enhance the current Manchester United squad.
Manchester United have been playing well in their previous games as Mourinho has finally found the strongest team he can currently use. However, the Portuguese manager still has a long way till his squad is at the level he is expecting.
It is said that Mourinho would like a new defender and currently is eyeing up Victor Lindelof at Benfica, He signed for Benfica at aged 17 in 2012, and his contract will expire on 2020. Mourinho is also interested in Southampton skipper Jose Fonte who has £15 million price tag on his head.
Both players have been doing well for their club and joining Manchester United could be the significant impact in their defense they may need.
According to latest reports, it is speculated that United have increased their interest in the youngster and are hoping to sign him as soon as possible.
