Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic could be making his way to Besiktas in the January transfer window.
Ivanovic hasn’t been seen on the pitch much this season as Chelsea manager Antonio Conte doesn’t believe Ivanovic will be part of his tactics at Chelsea. Although the 32-year-old has signed a contract at Chelsea which is set to expire on 2017, it is most likely he will be gone before his contract ends.
Branislav Ivanovic is certainly not finished as a player and can still play a part for many clubs in Europe; it’s just finding the right club for the player which is a problem.
According to recent reports, the Serbian will most likely be moving to Turkish side Besiktas in January. Turkish newspaper “Haber Turk” are aware that the defender has agreed to terms and it is imminent for the player to go.

Branislav Ivanovic hasn’t had any game time this season as Conte has changed a whole lot at Chelsea as well as formation, making it hard for the Serbian to get into the team unless he is converted into a centre-back.
All in all, It will be a good move for the Serbian if he moves to Besiktas as he will be able to help the Turkish side as well as keep himself fit and not injured as he is getting old and the Premier League will be harder for him to keep up.
