Atletico Madrid Goalkeeper Jan Oblak is set for a possible move to North London club Arsenal
According to recent reports, it is said that the Gunners are interested in Slovenian international Jan Oblak. However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is not too impressed with Atletico Madrid’s huge price on the keeper.
Atletico Madrid are asking for at least 100 million euros for their Goalkeeper as they do not want to sell him. Wenger will not want to pay such a huge price for a goalie and it looks like Arsenal won’t be able to sign him anytime soon.
Jan Oblak has been a vital prospect for Atletico Madrid and selling him would not be the best of ideas. Oblak has started 13 league games for Atletico Madrid and conceded less than one goal per game.
Arsenal are aware it won’t be easy to sign the Slovenian Goalkeeper but have said Atletico Madrid’s price on the keeper is just ridiculous.
It is very confusing for Arsenal fans as to why Wenger wants another goalkeeper as Petr Cech has been playing well for the Premier League club and signing him now is just pointless and a waste of money.
