MotoGP: Ducati reveals 2017 season Team

The Ducati MotoGP Team who will zoom in the 2017 season has been unveiled at the company’s Borgo Panigale headquarters. Former Yahama driver Jorge Lorenzo was officially launched in this event.

Lorenzo shook hands with long-time rival and new teammate Andrea Dovizioso on stage. Further, he hints, his only goal will be to seal a fourth MotoGP World Championship title. Moreover, the world No.3 will join the select group of drivers—Geoff Duke, Giacomo Agostini, Eddie Lawson, Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner as winners of the title on two different makes of machinery.

Finally, Lorenzo was able to chat about his shift to Ducati after eight years of Yamaha (2008-2016).

How does the change affect Lorenzo?

Lorenzo said that he is more nervous now than in races. The day meant very special for him. Yesterday was a great day because he didn’t expect all the love the people at Ducati would show him. Moreover, Lorenzo said, the fans, Ducatisti and the employees and some people have said ‘welcome to the family’ to him which is something one can only feel on this team.

On riding  Ducati’ Desmosedici GP:

Lorenzo said he have been with the same bike and team for many years so the Valencia Test was a big shock but it was a big, positive change. The riding ability of Bike was incredible, and also its sheer power. Further, it was so easy to keep control on the straights and in the corners. Apparently an incredible surprise for him.
