Tour de France 2017, Stage 7 takes action on July 7th, 2017 8:00 AM EST. The stage covers a distance of 213.5 km, starting from Troyes to Nuits-Saint-Georges.

After winning the first sprint-Stage 2 of the 104th Tour de France in Liege, Marcel Kittel proved to be in form by seizing the stage 6 as well in Troyes.

The German exploded in the last 150 metres to outpace green jersey holder Arnaud Demare of France, who finished second while Andre Greipel was third in Troyes. Britain’s Chris Froome still owns the yellow jersey.

Stage 7 features a 50-km long conclusive loop in the vineyards, from Gevrey-Chambertin to Nuits-Saint-Georges and the final 2 km is on a long straight road which will offer a sprint finish spectacle.
