Roach: Manny Pacquiao to Bring Jeff Horn Down With Speed

Sydney, Australia – Popular boxing coach Freddie Roach confidently stated that the speed Manny Pacquiao is known for will bring Jeff Horn down.

The professional coach is 100 per cent sure that Pacquiao has the ace on his upcoming bout against Horn on July 2, 2017 at the Suncorp Stadium. Roach added that the senator-boxer’s incomparable hand speed would help him keep his WBO Welterweight belt around his waist. The tale of the tape is coined as “The Battle of Brisbane.”

Jeff “the Hornet” Horn is 9 years younger than the Pac Man. He used to be a school teacher for Physical Education. Horn and his camp stated in an interview that they have a 10-point strategy to defeat Manny Pacquiao because they believe they know his weakness.

Horn, who can throw a solid right, is 5’9” tall with a reach of 68 inches. 11 of his 16 wins are KOs with 1 draw and 0 losses.

The long-time coach is still not convinced that Horn stands a chance. He believes that Pacquiao’s record – 59 wins,in which 38 were knockouts with 6 losses and 2 draws – will give Pac Man the control in the ring. He has practically fought boxers in different divisions, styles, and stances.

Pac Man’s hand speed has been proven in the ring all throughout his professional career as a boxer. Every opponent who kissed his fists can attest to that. However, there were some points during the training in the Philippines when Roach felt disappointed because Pacquiao had more important obligations as a statesman.

But that did not stop Manny Pacquiao for pushing harder – juggling training and senate hearings. In fact, Roach now rates Pac Man’s fighting condition as more polished than his previous camps. The star coach knows Pac Man is keeping the belt on his stable for a few more years.
