‘NO MORE TIGERS. NO MORE WOODS’, Vandals wrote on Trump’s Golf Course

Trump's Golf Course

President Trump’s one of the owned golf courses located just south of Los Angeles was vandalized early Sunday morning.

As reported by the Washington post, a group which calls themselves as anonymous environmental activist collective slipped into Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., and sculpt a message in the field with around six-foot-tall letters that read- NO MORE TIGERS. NO MORE WOODS.

The act was a response to President Trump’s administration, as the group is not satisfied with how Trump and his team is undertaking environmental issues.

A group of four carved out the message using gardening tools in less than one hour. The members of the environmental activists told the Washington Post that tearing up the golf course felt justified in many ways as repurposing what was once a beautiful stretch of land into a playground for the privileged is an environmental crime in its own right.

Further, they said that they hope this step sends a message to Trump and his corrupt administration that their actions will be met with action.

Previously known as Ocean Trails Golf Club was bought by Trump in 2002  for $27 million. It was renamed as Trump National Golf Club and opened in 2006. On its official website, the club tips its commitment to protecting the environmentally sensitive habitat that plays host to several protected indigenous plant species and the endangered Coastal California Gnatcatcher (a small blue-gray songbird which measures only 4.5 inches ).

Interestingly, the vandalized Los Angeles golf course is the only public type Golf Club as compared to the other five private golf courses owned by President Trump.
