Florida Panthers Team News

Panthers are coming off a 4-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, however, the offensive unit continued their amazing form scoring three goals on 46 shots. The unit has racked up a franchise-record 13 goals through their first three games of the 2017-18 season.

As the Panthers (2-2-0) will look to get back to their winning ways this week, the team will be focusing on tightening their defense as it will face one of the league’s top offensive clubs Philadelphia on Tuesday.

The Panthers were winless against Philadelphia in three matchups last season. They will hope to turn the tables this time.

Jonathan Huberdeau has come out strong this season as he is currently tied for the team-lead with five points (3-2-5). The 24-year-old winger gave a two-goal performance against Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Philadelphia Flyers Team News

The Flyers, flaunting league’s second-ranked offense (4.20 goals per game) is coming off a massive, 8-2 win over the Washington Capitals.

Head coach Dave Hakstol did not make substantial changes in Monday’s practice in the lines and d-pairings. It seems Hakstol will continue the winning combination on Tuesday.

However, Travis Sanheim, who sat out in Saturday’s game was seen doing extra work in the practice and may be back in the lineup on Tuesday. Defenseman Brandon Manning played in place of Sanheim in that game and did pretty well recording an assist and was a +2 with two shots on goal in 18 minutes of play.
