New Jersey Devils Team News

The Devils have had their fair share of injuries. Some of their best players are currently out, so in this game they will have to hope for the best. Players such as Brian Boyle and Kyle Palmieri are two of the many players who are currently out. Because there are so many injuries, it will be hard for anybody to guess what their starting lineup will look like. The Leafs will certainly be a challenge for the Devils, because they have multiple players who can put the game away easily.

Toronto Maple Leafs Team News

The Leafs are in quite a different position. They recently beat the Blackhawks 4-3, and they join the Blackhawks as the joint highest scoring team in the league.  This was quite an important win for Toronto, because that haven’t won a game against the Blackhawks since the 2014-2015 season. This proves that they are improving, and if you watched the game, you will see that they dominated the game entirely. It wasn’t all good news though. The game exposed some of Toronto’s defensive weaknesses, because they let in two goals very early, and they were goals that should have been dealt with easily. If this is an issue in the upcoming game, they could expect to concede even more goals. This can be avoided by strong defending and a strong attack too.
