Penguins Team News

The Penguins are missing out their No. 1 goaltender- Matt Murray and No. 1 defenseman- Kris Letang. Also, on the blue line, Trevor Daley is injured as well.

In game 6, a battered Penguins managed 2 late goals from Jake Guentzel and Evgeni Malkin in the game. It gives the Pens something to hang their hat on and, hopefully, some momentum to carry over into Wednesday night.

Capitals Team News

The newly formed three members of the top line in the Caps – T.J. Oshie, Andre Burakovsky, and Nicklas Backstrom – shot the game 6’s first three goals, scoring in every period, taking Washington to a dominating 3-0 lead by the first minute of the third frame.

Then came two power play goals, first by John Carlson in the third, and the Burakovsky had his second of the game to make it 5-0.
