Odell Beckham, Jr. Excited to Resuscitate the Cleveland Browns

2019 appears to be a lucky year for the Cleveland Browns as National Football League (NFL) superstar Odell Beckham, Jr. is now officially a part of it.

News regarding the trade deal erupted on Tuesday as the new NFL calendar year commenced.

Beckham’s former team, the New York Giants, traded him to the Ohio football squad and this marks an important milestone for it.

In 1999, the Cleveland Browns came back as an expansion team and Beckham coming on board has, apparently, revived that destiny for them.

The team has been reckoned as a hopeless wallflower, coming off a historical 0-16 lately. Sports analysts have described it as a laughing stock, a punching bag, and a hopeless case.

This week, that has changed, making head coach Freddie Kitchens’ group the talk of the NFL.

After 20 tortuous years, Beckham’s tremendous blockbuster deal has answered the hurt Cleveland Browns enthusiasts’ desire to bring the team back to its glorious days.

The 26-year-old football wide receiver is reckoned as the hope for the Cleveland Browns.  Beckham has been explosive all throughout his playing career with the NFL.

He has been frequently described with the superlative adjective “the best” when assessing his performance as a receiver.

The chief architect of changing the dismal fate of the Cleveland Browns is its general manager, John Michael Dorsey.

In December, he has started to negotiate in acquiring Beckham from the New York Giants.

Dorsey firmly believes in the exemplary work ethic of the Baton Rouge, Louisiana native. He cited that Beckham is one of the best NFL receivers and is absolutely a rare find.

At a relatively young age, Dorsey said that the electrifying NFL player “has got a lot of football left in him,” as Beckham is competitive, dedicated, and “really wants to be great.”

The 198-pound, 5-foot-11 dynamic wide receiver expressed his excitement for the opportunity given to him as a new part of the Cleveland Browns.

Beckham mentioned that he truly feels that it is high time that his new team begins winning plenty of football matches.

He expressed that he is elated to be instrumental in that vision going forward. According to Spotrac.com, this year, Beckham will receive a base salary amounting to $16.75 million.
