The New York Jets have a serious disadvantage due to player injuries. Although this is not a big thing in NFL teams, this still deserves mentioning. Darryl Roberts, Josh Martin, Matt Forte, and Kony Ealy are the top names missing the game. Further, Juston Burris and Muhammad Wilkerson are in the questionable region.
There is some good news though, as far as player coming-and-goings are concerned. Brandon Shell and Jordan Leggett are both coming to play the game. Shell had to skip on last week’s game but is ready now. As for Leggett, he is most probably coming as he is healthy now.
Those who saw the last match would know what a bummer it is to not have Ealy. Ealy had a great performance last game. He probably would’ve maintained his form if it was not for some unfortunate circumstances. Nevertheless, it’s a team and teams are about a group of people. And covering weaknesses is one of the many jobs of a team.
The Browns are also missing out on many players for their game against the Jets. Receiver Kenny Britt is doubtful for the game against the New York Jets. And so is linebacker Jamie Collins. The team will be easily penetrable because of the lack of Britt on the field.
The Browns defense is stellar. There is not a single doubt about that. Larry Ogunjobi is a rock-solid player who will hold the ground stoutly against the New York Jets offense.
Passing defense, however, is quite a different thing from run defense. In passing defense, the Browns have been quite poor in recent games. If they don’t improve on that, the team might be ready for a good thrashing, especially early on.
