The Jaguars are coming off a big 7-44 win over the Ravens while the Jets captured their first win of the season after they downed the Dolphins 6-20 last week.

Linebacker Lerentee McCray (knee) and wide receiver Jaelen Strong (hamstring) won’t be playing on Sunday due to injuries. Also,  Linebacker Donald Payne may not see the ground on Sunday as he picked up a hamstring issue on Friday and placed on the questionable list. The Jaguars may be without safety Tashaun Gipson on Sunday, who is also marked as questionable with a knee injury.

However, a list of players are expected to back on the field after recovering from injuries: center Brandon Linder, defensive tackles- Abry Jones and Malik Jackson, quarterback Blake Bortles, cornerback Jalen Ramsey, linebacker Myles Jack and offensive tackle Cam Robinson all can get some playtime on Sunday.

Jets head coach Todd Bowles is troubled with injuries early into the season, running back Matt Forté suffered a turf toe against the Dolphins and is ruled out of Sunday’s game.

Also, the Jets are questionable on defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson’s play on Sunday as he sustained a joint sprain last week.

However, starting right guard Brian Winters has recovered from the abdomen he suffered against the Raiders in Week 2 and is expected to play against the Jaguars.
