Indianapolis saw center Ryan Kelly hit the practice field for the first time this season but his 2017 debut is still a week away as head coach Chuck Pagano ruled him out of Sunday night’s game against the Seahawks in Seattle.
However, with Kelly out of the game, rookie Deyshawn Bond gets the chance to make his fourth start of the season at center on Sunday.
Five other players join Kelly on the bench: quarterback Andrew Luck (right shoulder), running back Marlon Mack (shoulder), cornerback Quincy Wilson(knee), wide receiver Chester Rogers(hamstring), and inside linebacker Anthony Walker (hamstring) all won’t be playing on Sunday.
The Seahawks may enter Sunday night’s game without their leading receiver Doug Baldwin, who has sustained a groin injury and is listed as questionable. If Baldwin doesn’t show up on Sunday or even if his playing time is limited that would give rookie Amara Darboh a chance improve his game in his pro football campaign.
Cornerback Neiko Thorpe, who missed last week’s game with an ankle injury is also listed as questionable for the Colts clash.
