Green Bay Packers Team News

Playing his fourth in the green and yellow,  Jeff Janis made a touchdown in the preseason opener. His 20-yard grab against the Eagles marked his sixth career preseason TD reception. He will be the one the Redskins defense will be eyeing at all times.

With just three games left in the preseason much of the regular season roster has yet to be decided. A stronger competition between Davis and Max McCaffrey in the receiving end is expected. Undrafted rookies Michael Clark and Montay Crockett made pro football debuts and will hope to get some more action on Saturday night.

Yancey (groin) and Dupre (concussion) are out of the game.

Washington Redskins Team News

Linebackers Mason Foster and Will Compton started in last week’s game against the Eagles. This time Zach Brown will be bolstering Foster. Brown has proved his athletic abilities in the practice sessions that could be a perfect addition in the middle of the Redskins’ defense.

One of the main reasons in last week’s loss to the Eagles the Ravens was the underperforming first-team offense which appeared in six plays but failed to net a first down.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins went 1-of-2 for five yards while running back Rob Kelley ran just two yards on three attempts. The Redskins has to shoot up their offense if they want to do some damage to the strong Packers’ defense.
