San Francisco 49ers Team News

A gem from the undrafted free agent Lorenzo Jerome stood out in the training camp. His agility and instincts are really at the pro level. Thanks to San Francisco’s injuries at safety that Jerome may get a chance to showcase his mettle in a real game on Friday.

Coach Shanahan has stated that Matt Barkely will be the second quarterback to hit the field on Friday following Hoyer.

Kansas City Chiefs Team News

Out of the 90 players, the Chiefs will have only 53 on the regular season roster. So the preseason games will be a fierce fight among teammates to grab a spot. Expect some bone crushes for sure.

Quarterback Alex Smith is set to play the majority of the first quarter. Next up will be Tyler Bray to take over at quarterback in the second quarter followed by rookie Patrick Mahomes in the third and Joel Stave in the fourth.

Chiefs rookie class Mahomes, running back Kareem Hunt, and wide receiver Jehu Chesson will be hoping to live up to their moments.
