New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady is reported to have his game-winning jersey stolen from the locker room just after the team’s massive victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.
Texas Rangers were called in by Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick to assist the Houston Police Department in finding Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl jersey. In a statement released he said that the Jersey has a historical value i.e, it is called the “most valuable NFL collectible ever” and was stolen.
The incident is unsettling as Brady searched through his locker area at NRG Stadium but failed to unearth the jersey which he wore in the Patriots’ 34-28 overtime victory over Falcons.
Calling the security staff and team equipment managers Brady said that he knew exactly where he put his jersey. The purple-white No.12 jersey seems to just walk away from the premises.
Earlier, it was reported that Brady’s jersey was locked up by an equipment manager so there was no way it could have been stolen. However, that report is dismissed and it seems the jersey is missing for real.

Brady at a press conference for the Super Bowl LI MVP, the title which he won, said that he had put the jersey in his bag and came out and it wasn’t there anymore.
Further, he added, it’s unfortunate because that’s a nice piece of memorabilia and if it ends up on eBay, let him know.
