The Pittsburgh Steelers have a strong chance to make a playoff push and win the AFC North divisional title. The injured players have started to decrease in number now.
Moreover, the Steelers have learned to play without those players who are injured after so many weeks. However, the remaining players must not get injured, and the team must remain intact if they want to win the series.
The Steelers have been working hard to prepare for their battle against the Indianapolis Colts on the occasion of Thanksgiving. Even though there are four injured players, none of the newly injured players have been recorded so far. The team is getting healthier at a faster pace with decreasing injured players, but they are still without big name players so far.
Darrius Heyward-Bey, the wide receiver, had to miss the game against the Cleveland Browns last week. This is due to him having injured his foot and couldn’t practice this week. As per the official, announcements, he has been ruled out.
The Pittsburgh team will have to depend on Le’Veon Bellonce again in the crucial game. Bellonce fills in DeAngelo Williams’s place who is unable to play due to the knee injury. Apart from this, Xavier Grimble and receiver Sammie Coates has been struggling with their injuries for a few weeks now.
Safety Jordan Dangerfield has also made a comeback on the field for practice in a limited capacity for now. He is recovering from a groin injury and will be a game-time decision.
On the other hand, the Colts will play without quarterback Andrew Luck. He was ruled out due to a concussion on Wednesday. Apart from this, Scott Tolzien will fill his shoes against the Steelers. The Colts will also play quarterback Stephen Morris on Thanksgiving night.
