The Philadelphia 76ers are currently 0-3 in the NBA 2017-18 preseason. A winless start is not a good start to a preseason and could lead to a bad regular season as well if they don’t have enough confidence buildup early on. Their opponents, the Brooklyn Nets are 3-0 and full of confidence and positivity.
Joel Embiid leads the team in points and rebounds. He has the scores of 20.2 and 7.8 for the stats, respectively. Further, T.J. McConnell is important as he leads the team with a 6.6 score in assists.
Embiid and McConnell have much higher scores than those of the Nets team leaders. This means that the Sixers are in a better position. However, if the Sixers can’t tap into this advantage, they might lose you another match.
Their losses so far have been against the Memphis Grizzlies (110-89) and the Boston Celtics (110-102 and 96-113). We will be looking forward to how the players perform this time. If the team loses, we will have to downgrade our optimism for the Philly team.
Jeremy Lin leads the team in points and assists with a score of 14.5 and 5.1 respectively. Trevor Booker leads the team in rebounds with a score of 8. Surely, Lin and Booker will be very integral to the good performance of the Nets against the Sixers.
It could be so that the Sixers are a different challenge altogether. The Nets might have it hard when they face the Sixers and finally, they might have their first defeat of the preseason.
Nevertheless, we cannot stop believing in the stats that have given the Nets a 3-0 score. Three consecutive wins against the Miami Heats (88-107) and New York Knicks (115-107 and then 83-117) surely mean something.
