New Orleans Pelicans Team News

The Pelicans have already faced the Bulls in the preseason opener. The Pelicans lost that game coming a few points short, at 113-109. The combination of Cousins and Davis seemed to be deadly, when they came together for 44 points and 10 rebounds between them.  Another potential danger man could have been Cheick Diallo, but he is out of this game with a left ankle sprain. Rajon Rondo picked up an injury against to the Thunder, so he will be missing for the Pelicans. This would have been a return to his former team. Justin Holiday could potentially come to his brother Jrue who plays for the Pelicans.

Chicago Bulls Team News

The Bulls have looked very strong, and recently won against the Bucks. The won fairly convincingly too, winning 114-101. The Bulls simply seemed unstoppable. They were  17-34 from the beyond the arc, and their offense simply looked world class. Justin Holiday picked up 21 points that day, being the highest scorer for the Bulls. Mirotic and Lopez are other notable mentions who gave Bucks a really hard game. If the Bulls play similar to how they did against the Bucks, the Pelicans will really struggle to win, and that’s a fact. However, the Bulls will need to focus on defending too, because with New Orleans offensive talent, a good offense won’t be enough for Chicago. They need to make sure that both their offense and defense are on point.
