After downing the Clippers 121-113 in the opener, Toronto lost a 98-84 game to the LA Clippers in the second game on Tuesday night, DeMar DeRozan led the team with 15 points and Fred VanFleet added 13 points for the Raptors.
Kyle Lowry, who led the Raptors in the game 1 with 17 points was rested on Tuesday but he is expected to play against the Blazers.
Raptors will be without Malcolm Miller on Thursday due to a right ankle injury while OG Anunoby (right knee) and Norman Powell (sprained right ankle) are questionable.
Portland lost their opener to the Phoenix Suns 114-112 Tuesday night at the Moda Center. However, exceptional performances from Damian Lillard (18 points), Jusuf Nurkic (16 points) were recorded along with the 18 points and six rebounds play from rookie Caleb Swanigan off the bench for the Blazers.
The Blazers coach Stotts has hinted that he could mix up the starting lineup against the Raptors. Stotts looking for the best combination and to strengthen the coordination among players is expected to mix and match lineups and rotations throughout the exhibition games.
Although Shabazz Napier was seen in a post-practice shooting session on Wednesday he will be sitting out the game against the Raptors because of a left hamstring injury. Also, Noah Vonleh (right shoulder), and C.J. Wilcox (right knee) are ruled for the game.
