HEAT captured their Las Vegas Summer League opener against San Antonio Spurs 75-74 Saturday night at Cox Pavilion. Bam Adebayo led the way for the HEAT with 18 points.

2017 NBA draft 14th overall pick Bam Adebayo led the team with 18 points ( 6-of-12 shooting), 10 rebounds, and 2 steals.

London Perrantes made the game-winning jump shot with just four seconds remaining, he scored six points in the fourth quarter, finishing with 12 points (5-of-10 shooting), five assists,  a game-high three steals.

Okaro White, who sat out in the opener may play in the game against the Wizards.

Washington Wizards Team News

The Wizards suffered a dying moment 91-88 to the Grizzlies in the Summer League opener on Saturday night.

It seems a year of basketball in China helps can fire up shooting power, Cunningham posted 26 points (on 7-12 shooting) playing just 29 minutes. The Wizards were chasing 13 points deficit entering the 4th, and it was Cunningham who kept Heat’s defensive side on their toes.

Playing his second year Daniel Ochefu performed from every area finishing with 13 points, 10 board and 5 blocks.

Starting forwards Chris McCullough and Michael Young notched 11 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assists and 10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists respectively.
