After a mind blowing 102-99 win over Denver Nuggets in the Summer League opener, Rockets took a jab losing 90-95 in game 2 Saturday night.

Troy Williams delivered his second straight great performance leading the Rockets in scoring with 21 points. Playing from every corner the court he also grabbed 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block.

Second-year Isaiah Taylor notched 18 points, 1 rebound, 6 assists, and was great at the defensive end as well with a 1 steal.

Zhou Qi, who scored 17 points (7-13 shooting) and grabbed 6 rebounds while playing 25 minutes in his Rockets debut saw a skid scoring 2 points and grabbed just 3 rebounds playing 27 minutes on Saturday’s game.

Phoenix Suns Team News

After Friday’s 89-85 win over the Sacramento Kings in the Summer League opening game, the Suns slugged to a 77-88 loss to their bitter foes Dallas Mavericks Sunday night.

However, Suns’ rookies did their best with 2017 NBA draft 4th overall pick Josh Jackson scoring 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists in the loss while Round 2 32nd pick Davon Reed notched 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 points.

Mike James completed the rookies’ successes on their second night as he led the Suns with 19 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, helped with 2 assists, and made 2 steals.
