The 76ers lost a heartbreaking 100-94 game to Utah Jazz on Day 2 of the 2017 Utah Jazz Summer League.

As the Jazz was leading by 24-points in the third quarter, the No. 1 pick Sixers’ Markelle Fultz took control of the situation single-handedly, scoring13 of his team-high 23 points in the fourth quarter in Philadelphia’s comeback.

Fultz shot 9-for-16 from the field (including 4-for-8 from 3-point area) and notched five rebounds, five assists, and six turnovers. Alex Poythress added 17 points, eight rebounds and two steals for the Sixers while Brandon Austin recorded 16 points off the bench in the loss.

San Antonio Spurs Team News

San Antonio Spurs downed the Boston Celtics 81-70 Wednesday night at the Jon M. Huntsman Center on the Day 2 of the 2017 Utah Jazz Summer League.

Spurs’ Bryn Forbes, who played 36 games for the Spurs last season made game-high 31 points on 12-for-20 shooting. Also,  the second-year point guard added three assists and three steals, and he shot 6-for-8 from 3-point range.

Davis Bertans notched 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting, 4 rebounds, and an assist, playing 27 minutes for the Spurs in the win.
