Legendary hard rock band, Guns N’ Roses, is honored with a Grammy nomination this year.
During the 61st yearly Grammy Awards held Sunday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the band’s name was included on the list of winners and nominees.
“Weird Al” Yankovic’s “Squeeze Box: The Complete Works of “Weird Al” Yankovic” bested Guns N’ Roses’ treasure trove of music and memories for the awards category, “Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package.”
Nevertheless, the band from Los Angeles, California has carried on, inspiring today’s generation.
Listeners of all ages will be enlightened about the phenomenal luster of Axl Rose’s rock group through the “Appetite for Destruction (Locked N’ Loaded Box Set).”
Initially released in 1987, the “Appetite for Destruction” album of Guns N’ Roses sold roughly 30 million copies internationally.
These statistics comprise 18 million units sold in the United States.
In 2012, this accomplishment made the Guns N’ Roses’ album to be hailed as the best-selling debut compilation of all time and earned the band a place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Grammy-nominated Guns N’ Roses compilation album is currently limited to 10,000 copies available globally.
In this embossed, faux-leather-wrapped wooden cabinet, fans and music enthusiasts will find the re-mastered version of “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” the highest-charting song of Guns N’ Roses.

During its release, the song garnered heavy airplay on both the MTV and on the radio. In addition, it earned the number 37th spot on Guitar World’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitar Solos.”
Rolling Stone’s “The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time” has “Sweet Child O’ Mine” placed at number 198, too.
The famous classic song by Guns N’ Roses also landed the number three spot on Blender’s “500 Greatest Songs Since You Were Born.”

The commercially successful “Sweet Child O’ Mine” includes the world-famous riff on its introduction.

Guns N’ Roses may no longer have its original members on its current lineup.
Yet Axl Rose and his band’s legacy will continue to be inspirational to people of all walks of life through their stunningly magnificent excellence as rock stars.
