Disney has finally released the much-anticipated music video for Ariana Grande and John Legend’s duet of “Beauty and the Beast,” the film which stars universal crush, Emma Watson as ‘Bella.’ The Video already has crossed two million views in less than 12 hours.
The pair’s duet is a rekindled version of the original, which was sung by actress Angela Lansbury and recorded by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson, for the 1991 animated movie.
In the live action movie, the new song is sung by Emma Thompson and this a different version released by Grande and Legend.
Grande, donning a crimson colored princess’ gown inspired by the tons of roses in the movie, and Legend, suited up like a prince and playing the piano are seated inside the mesmerizing castle. As the duo sings along, Belle and the Beast are seen performing their signature ballroom dance right behind them.
The video directed by Dave Mayers features some spell bounding dancing sequences with the dancers dressed as rose petals.
The song and the video are available to stream and download. However, the rest of the film’s soundtrack which includes vocals from Emma Watson, Dan Stevens and the rest of the cast, plus an original song by Celine Dion will be released as the Movie hits the theaters on March 17.
