HOUSTON – Lady Gaga is set to perform at the Super Bowl 2017 and this time, she cannot crush the Star-Spangled Banner anymore because she will be rocking the Halftime stage.
She is taking over the Super Bowl Halftime show and she invited 90-year-old crooner Tony Bennett to join her on stage.
Lady Gaga, a highly-acclaimed total performer has joined the ranks of many legendary acts who took the stage throughout the years, from the Rolling Stones to U2, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Katy Perry, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Who, and many others.
This event is very meaningful to her because she’s been waiting for 26 years to have this kind of opportunity, according to the 30-year old singer. She’s been dreaming of performing at the Super Bowl since she was 4 years old. As a matter of fact, she had been planning so she knows exactly what she is going to do. When she takes the stage on February 5, she is determined to outclass the wild performances in the past.
Gaga has been thinking of elevating things like doing some parts on the roof of the NRG Stadium but she was asked not to mention Donald Trump or anything about politics. It’s something the fans have to watch out for.
People will expect an A+ performance whenever there is a show by Lady Gaga and her dancers who reportedly spent countless hours of rehearsals in Gaga’s giant backyard tent.
A lot of surprises are expected to happen in the show but Gaga expelled the idea of a wardrobe-malfunction similar to Janet Jackson’s in Super Bowl 2004. Also, don’t expect to see Beyonce at the Super Bowl 2017. Lady Gaga has just shut down that rumor.
