New Orleans Jazz Fest

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will see Stevie Wonder, Tom Petty, and the Heartbreakers, Maroon 5, Kings of Leon, Lorde and Usher uplifting the vibes in the coming spring.

Further, Snoop Dogg, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Nas with the guests the soul rebels, Pitbull, Leon Bridges are also among the 500 artists that will be performing at the New Orleans Fair Grounds Race Course from April 28th to 30th and then from May 4th through 7th.

Fact: Jazz music is generally acknowledged to have originated in New Orleans.

The eclectic squad includes Earth, Wind & Fire, country musicians Margo Price and Darius Rucker, guitarists Buddy Guy and George Benson. Further, singers like Patti LaBelle, Harry Connick Jr., Elle King and Meghan Trainor. Bands like the Trey Anastasio and Widespread Panic will perform as well.

A substantial number of artists in the gigantic lineup are also dedicated to New Orleans usuals like Dr. John, the Meters, Irma Thomas, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Further, Jon Batiste and Stay Human, Big Freedia, Aaron Neville, and a tribute to the late Buckwheat Zydeco will be there too.

Interestingly, This Jazz Fest will showcase a special program to bask in the music of Cuba. Over eighteen bands from the Castro-land will be dispensing their music on the US soil.
