CELEBRITY BOXING CHALLENGE : Chris Brown will fight Soulja Boy

Chris Brown and Soulja Boy have signed up to go face to face in a celebrity boxing match.

Posting on Instagram, Soulja Boy said that “It’s going down! Signed my contract, I’m leaving the fight with $1,000,000”.

According to the rapper, the showdown will be held in March in Las Vegas. Moreover, one of the sport’s all-time greats Floyd Mayweather will assist Soulja with the fight.

Soulja posted that he got the best ever his big bro @floydmayweather training him damn.

Responding to the announcement Chris Brown told ‘ it was time to stop talking’ to his jaw-dropping 34m Instagram followers.

The singer posted “Now that we have your undivided attention, boxing match set”.

Chris added: “Legally. Man to Man. No more dissing and no more talking. We in the ring with it. Challenge accepted.”

The statement comes following days of exchanging crude remarks between the pair via social media.

If Soulja does ‘crank dat’ in the fight, then Chris will have to look at himself


The feud between the two apparently started after Soulja Boy, liked and left a comment below a picture on the profile of Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

The duo exchanged several videos and pictures mocking and threatening each other.

It wasn’t long before a physical challenge thrown and which seems to have been accepted by both the stars.

Moreover, the three round fight is being promoted by Boxing Legend Floyd Mayweather.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent has backed Soulja Boy for the win and says; he’ll be putting a $100,000 bet on the consequence.

Chris Brown, 27, and Soulja Boy, 26, have been condemned by fans and other celebrities for their public shaming of each other.

Further, Soulja Boy has even been accused of using the fight as a strategy to save his ticking music career.

The exact venue and date of the match are still yet to be confirmed, but according to the flyer, it will be a pay-per-view format event.

Soulja Boy’s latest Snapchat posts assert that he has started training.
