Iona Team News

The Iona Gaels are 2-4 so far into the season. They have lost all three games they played away so far. Will they able to break that record with this matchup? Well, chances are tough. The Gaels are on a two-game losing streak. They lost 91-79 to the Providence Friars on November 25th. After that, in their latest game this season, they had an 89-65 loss at the hands of the Ohio Bobcats.

The Iona Gaels are a particularly easy team to beat this season so far. The team is going to need extra support from the offensive side if they want to make a fight.

VCU Team News

The VCU Rams are 5-2 and have won all four of their home games. They are hosting the Gaels to win. Coming off a 62-52 loss at the hands of the Old Dominion Monarchs, they are also looking forward to getting back on the track.

The Rams are scoring an average of 67.7 points per game. Depending on season leaders Issac Vann and Marcus Santos-Silva, the Rams will be looking forward to a good game today evening. Vann leads in points as well as assists and will be extremely crucial if the Rams want their sixth win of the season.
