 Stanford Team News

Stanford had their last Cal game cancelled because of the devastating wildfires in Butte Country. They have been strong this season and are 6-4 overall and 4-3 in their conference. The team’s only four losses came to high ranking teams, AP’s 3rd, 7th, 16th and 18th ranked teams. Cardinals have had problems in passing defense allowing an  average of 263.3 yards through the air, their opponents might play to that. Also Bryce Love has not been in that great form rushing only 122 times for 580 yards and 5 touchdowns (4.8 yards per carry) in eight games played this season compared to his 8.1 average last season .The Bruins young linebackers will step up for sure like they did against the Trojans. Their defensive display will have a huge impact on this game.

 UCLA Team News

Bruins have just stepped up their form before their all important game, they’ve not won this game since 2008. No matter what this will be in their mind when they play the game. Their are some ways the Bruins (3-8, 3-5 Conf ) can take something out of this one, maybe go on to win. They might pass more instead of rushing to capitalize on their opponents weak passing defense, they can handle the offense if they play clean enough conceding less penalties. Lets see if UCLA can step up like their last match, or Bryce Love comes back to form in style adding more rushing yards to his name.
