Northern Illinois Team News

The Northern Illinois Huskies are coming off a 13-7 loss at the hands of the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks. That was a result we didn’t quite like. Before that, however, the team was on a good winning streak.

The Huskies are scoring an average of 19.8 points per game against the Broncos’ impressive 33.6. They are allowing only 20.3 points against the terrible 34.5 of the Broncos. So, it’s hard to imagine them winning or losing, as one aspect is really strong while another really weak.

Only time will tell whether the Huskies can take on the Broncos the right way, taking advantage of any opening they see and make this matchup their win when they are at road later tonight in Michigan.

Western Michigan Team News

The Western Michigan Broncos are coming off a 42-41 OT loss at the hands of the Ball State Cardinal. They are currently on a three-game losing streak. Another loss would seriously cripple their game. They have a streak starting with the 51-24 loss against the Toledo Rockets, then a 59-14 loss to the Ohio Bobcats, and finally a 42-41 OT loss to the Cardinal, as I mention above too.

The team needs their next win and snap the losing streak. But it’s a hard game to predict. Maybe they win by a good margin, maybe they lose. If any slip-ups happen and the opponent Northern Illinois Huskies are on time to take advantage of any such opening, well then it’s certain doom.
