The Villanova Wildcats are not having a good season at all. They are being crushed. Currently on a 4-game losing streak, the Villanova Wildcats have had the last two games with 0 points.
The streak starts with their 29-27 loss at the hands of the Stony Brook Seawolves. Then, a 13-10 loss to the Maine Black Bears. After that, a 37-0 loss at the hands of the James Madison Dukes and then in their most recent game, a 34-0 loss to the New Hampshire Wildcats.
Besides having a couple of consecutive point-less losses, the team spirit is intact, the coaches report. No fighting, no blaming, and the overall morale being positive. They have what we can dub a fighting chance. The game against the Richmond Spiders might be the one where they register their next win, but still it’s going to take more effort than the team currently shows. They haven’t quit. They have practice backing them up. Let’s see how well it plays.
Before their latest game, which was a loss, the Spiders had their win over the Albany Great Danes, 27-24. Their latest game, however, has been a 38-28 loss at the hands of the Elon Phoenix. Before that, they had a losing streak. The teams in those streaks were the Stony Brook Seawolves (a 36-10 beating), the James Madison Dukes (a 63-10 crushing), and the Delaware Blue Hens (a 43-28 loss).
