The Montana State Bobcats are coming off a 34-24 loss to the Weber State Wildcats. Before that, they had a 24-23 victory over the Idaho Vandals. The team needs their fifth win and also a better position in their conference.
The Bobcats are currently struggling a little bit to reach that stage, but we believe they will be there in no time.
Receivers coach Matt Miller has been promoted to offensive coordinator. He was a former receiver at Boise State. He has been a coach for the Bobcats since 2015. At around the same time, the Bobcats also took another decision. The firing of playcaller Bob Cole on Monday was quite a surprise.
The Idaho State Bengals are 4-3, winning three out of their four conference games so far into the season. They are on a two-game losing streak. The first was a 44-37 OT loss at the hands of the UC Davis Aggies. After that, in their latest game so far, they lost 48-41 to the Liberty Flames.
The Bengals seriously have no idea about what to expect. They need to be one of the finest in the Big Sky conference and for that, they will need this win because they’re 3-1 right now. A fourth win in the conference would do them a huge good.
The Bengals are in a triple-tie with Weber State and the Eastern Washington Eagles. Getting ahead of the competition is their number one priority right now.
