Jacksonville Team News

The Jacksonville Dolphins are 1-5 so far into the season. Only their season opener was a win, a massive one at that. They were 63-14 against the St. Augustine’s University Falcons. After that, it has been a losing spree. First a 45-3 loss to the Mercer Bears and then another one at the hands of the Walsh.

After that, they lost 41-9 to the Drake Bulldogs. Then a 44-37 loss at the hands of the Davidson Wildcats and following that was a 20-17 loss to the Marist Red Foxes. Their most recent game has been a 38-35 loss at the hands of the Stetson Hatters.

The Dolphins are averaging 27.3 points per game so far against a 35.9 of the Toreros. The team is allowing 33.7 points per game against the 27.1 of the Toreros. Not a lot can help the Dolphins win this one, but they sure can try their best to avoid struggling in this game.

San Diego Team News

The San Diego Toreros are on a 4-game win streak. 49-10 against the Stetson Hatters, then a 51-34 win over the Morehead State Aggies. After that, they had a 36-34 win over the Dayton Flyers and soon after, in their latest game, a 42-13 win over the Butler Bulldogs.

The team is 5-2, not going through a single loss in their conference (4-0). Most probably, the Toreros will be hosting the Dolphins for a win. Their sixth win of the season: a statement they will feel proud making.
