Purdue Team News

Things are surely getting better for the Purdue Boilermakers. Sure, their season’s beginning could have been much better. Three consecutive losses at home in the beginning of the season is not good. These were losses against the Northwestern Wildcats (a 31-27 loss), the Eastern Michigan Eagles (a close 20-19 loss), and the Missouri Tigers (another close 40-37 loss).

They bounced back by defeating the #23 Boston College Eagles 30-13 in an impressive game. This marks the first win against an opponent with a rank in 7 years. It also breaks a 18-game streak of consecutive losses at the hands of ranked teams. So, things are surely looking very good for the Boilermakers.

They just need to channel this confidence and their standard gameplay into their next game against the 0-3 Nebraska Cornhuskers and they will be on the way to their second victory in the season. It will cement their position and they will be off to a good start of the season in no time.

Nebraska Team News

The Nebraska Cornhuskers badly need their first win of the season. Currently 0-3 into the season, the team’s form is up for the blame here.

Yes, the Cornhuskers are on a fall. But they have a strong football record and rich history. They ar also very desperate for a win. We think they can swing the game in their favor if they try hard enough.
