Columbia Team News

The Columbia Lions are a strong team by many means throughout the entire Patriot League. Last time they were at Georgetown, they won 35-14. Currently 1-0 into the season, they want their second consecutive win to prove how they’re a better team than the Hoyas.

The Lions are not desperate for a win. And perhaps that will play in their favor, who knows? Being a strong, confident team in the League, they have the tools necessary to crush the Hoyas and score a sweeping victory. If they play their cards right and the team acts as one, they have a very good chance to win this one.

Georgetown Team News

This is the sixth time that the Georgetown Hoyas are meeting the Columbia Lions. Also, this is the third time they meet for the Lou Little Trophy.

The Hoyas have a lot riding on this game. They can’t lose to the Columbia Lions now. There are other higher education universities that they will need to face and this is the point where the Hoyas prove their mettle.
