Fresno State Team News

The Fresno State Bulldogs are banking everything on the defense. Packed with veterans with a ton of experience, this is something any team would help cracking, let alone the UCLA Bruins.

The Bulldogs are serious. They want the win. They will do whatever it takes. This is a team that ranks third in total defense and scoring defense as well as second in pass defense (Mountain West Conference).

The Bulldogs have had a sweeping 79-13 win over Idaho Vandals in their season opener. Then they lost to the Minnesota Golden Gophers with a 21-14 score. This time, they want to go 2-1 by beating the Bruins.

UCLA Team News

The UCLA Bruins have yet to do work on their offensive line. The problem was glaring. Any fan would notice the fault the Bruins offense has. First, they got to patch that up. If that’s not done, we’re not sure the Bruins can give a tough fight and win comfortably.

The Bruins will have it tough if they can’t move the ball enough to score. In average, the Bruins are already at a meagre 19.0 points per game(as against the 46.5 of the Bulldogs) and they seriously need to rethink their offense if they want any shot at a victory.
