USC Trojans Team News

The first thing that the USC Trojans need to do is establish a pass rush in defense. That alone won’t do much, obviously. This is the game where JT Daniels will give his acid test. Is he up to the task? There is absolutely no scope for making mistakes, let alone making freshman mistakes, so Daniels is under even more pressure.

Even if USC wins, it’s still not enough if they can’t make a statement. A score like 27-24 in favor of the Trojans will still fail to woo the fans and the voters. USC has seen a drop of two places recently, and they can’t afford another. What they truly need is a ruthless game, strong defense, and active play to beat the Cardinal team with a huge margin. But given the current records and stats, that looks, at best, a far-fetched idea.

Stanford Cardinal Team News

Stanford comes with an explosive offense. They will blast any opponent with their high-performance and unusually active offensive lineup.

Both teams are going to score 20+, most probably. However, Stanford can easily beat the Trojans in the later part of the game by scoring more than them, even if it’s just a difference of 5.
