The Big Red is coming off a big 34-7 victory over Brown last Saturday, snapping a nine-game losing streak in the series. Harold Coles ran for two touchdowns going 65 yards on just six carries while Jack Gellatly had 74 yards on seven carries. Quarterback Dalton Banks completed 19 of 26 passes for 228 yards adding to the 504 total yards of offense.

Cornell carries a defensive unit which has allowed just 242.5 yards per game in a four-game stretch, they gave away just 161 yards in the win over Brown. Another strength of the team is their special teams that have been consistently productive. Sophomore Nickolas, the reigning Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Week ranks second in punting average (41.5) in the conference.

The Tigers improved to 5-1 (2-1 Ivy) in the season after a 52-17 beating of Harvard, Princeton has now won nine of its last 10 games dating back to 2016.

Chad Kanoff leads the Princeton’s explosive offense with 1,885 passing yards and 17 touchdowns thus far. Jesper Horsted takes control of the receiving corp along with Stephen Carlson. Horsted has collected 712 receiving yards and eight touchdowns while Carlson has 548 receiving yards and six touchdowns to his name and the quick burst of Charlie Volker (432 rushing yards, nine touchdowns) behind an offensive line that has surrendered just six sacks.

The Tigers’ defense dominates the Ivy League and ranks third nationally in rushing defense (71.5 yards per game) and led by senior linebacker  Kurt Holuba, who has recorded 16 tackles, four sacks, and three pass breakups so far.
