John Bonamego and company pulled off a 30-27 triple-overtime victory in the opener last week against Rhode Island. But Bonamego is aware that if Chippewas expect to win on Saturday or any game for the rest of the season they will have to tighten up their offense.
Concern clouds among the Chippewas with turnovers and the center-quarterback exchange. Center Austin Doan three times fumbled the ball over the head of the quarterback in the shotgun formation, and the team committed four turnovers, including three fumbles.
Morris, a graduate transfer from Michigan, is set to start against the Jayhawks.
The Jayhawks are coming off a 38-16 win over FCS Southeast Missouri State in their season opener.

Another Junior who stood in the opener was Steven Sims who made four catches for 142 yards and two touchdowns.
