The 2017 roster is filled with young talents 40 freshmen are going to join the Huskies’ 2017 journey. Further, 26 sophomores,  and just 16 seniors and 27 juniors make rest of the roster.

The Huskies offensive line broke all previous records in 2016 with 77 touchdowns scoring 585 points.

Jake Browing will be back as the starting quarterback for the Huskies. Browing posted a record-setting season, completing 18-of-27 passes for 287 yards and making three touchdowns.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights Team News

Fifth-year senior Kylie Bolin has earned the starting quarterback job during the training camp. Also, Bolin will be captaining the team this season along with fifth-year senior defensive lineman Darnell Davis. Next in lineup will be fifth-year senior offensive lineman Dorian Miller and junior linebacker Deonte Roberts.

Fifth-year senior Janarion Grant will back in the lineup after missing later part of the last season.

Several freshmen namely wide receivers trio: Hunter Hayek, Everett Wormley, and Bo Melton are set to make their debuts. Sophomore

Sophomore Jawuan Harris, who made 39 receptions for 481 yards in 2016 will return as the leading receiver in the Knights.
