“Great players make great plays,” said Villanova’s coach Jay Wright after beating Seton Hall 55-53 in the semifinals of the Big East Tournament.

All thanks to Josh Hart, the Big East’s player of the year who turned an offensive rebound into the game-winning three-point play with 9.6 seconds left on the clock.

Hart posted19 points and 10 rebounds to send the four-time defending regular-season champions- the Wildcats into the final.

Co-incidently, the Bluejays also booked their championship shot with a game-winning 3-pointer by Marcus Foster with 8 seconds to play against Xavier to win by 75-72 on Friday night.

Foster and Justin Patton each made 21 points for Creighton, which hit 13 of 20 from the three-point line.
