No. 7 Seed Xavier Musketeers (21-12, 9-9 Big East) takes on No. 6 Seed Creighton Bluejays (24-8, 10-8 Big East) in the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinals tonight. The Musketeers pulled off a shocking victory over No. 2 seed Butler Bulldogs last night while Creighton also knocked a stronger No. 3 seed Providence to book the semifinals.
The game will be broadcast on FS1 with Gus Johnson (play-by-play), Jim Jackson (analyst) and Lisa Byington( sideline reporter) on the coverage.
The winner will face No. 5 Seton Hall or No. 1 Villanova in the championship game at 5:30 PM EST Saturday, Mar 11.

It was junior guard Trevon Bluiett who has carried Xavier to the semifinals of the Big East Tournament. He posted 23 points, including a next-to-impossible foul line jumper that broke the game’s final tie with 16 seconds remaining as they silenced Butler 62-57 Thursday night.
Malcolm Bernard made 12 points and 10 rebounds while Sean O’Mara posted 10 points.
With no point guard Maurice Watson Jr. and team star Marcus Foster on the bench for foul trouble, a win seemed distant against the third seed Providence but Khyri Thomas came to the rescue scoring19 points and the Bluejays went on a game-changing 13-2 in the second half. And winning the game by 70-58 over Providence in the quarterfinals of the Big East Tournament Thursday night.
Foster finished with 15 points while Cole Huff added 10 points and freshman of the year Justin Patton made nine points and eight rebounds.
